Passed away peacefully surrounded by his whanau on Wednesday 21 January 2026.
Much loved only son of Rosa Selina Te Maari (Busch) (d) and Frank Harold Rangi (Rangitakaiwaho) (d). Cherished husband of Okirua Myra Rangi (Toka) (d).  Dearly loved father to Anne (d), Paul and Michele, and Diane.  Loved and adored koro to his moko and many moko tuarua.  Respected uncle, brother, cousin and friend to many.
Papa will be taken to Papawai Marae Thursday 22 January 2026 and will lay in state until Saturday 24 January 2026 and will return to Kawerau.  He will be laid to rest on Sunday 25 January 2026 at the Kawerau Cemetery at 11am followed by a kai.

On 19th December 2025 aged 86. Cherished husband and best mate of Jeanette.

A private cremation has taken place, and a celebration of Bruce’s life will be held at 2pm on Saturday 10th January at Rosewood, 415 Queen Street, Masterton.

KENNEDY, Patricia Ellen.
Peacefully at Wairarapa Hospital on 16 December 2025, after a short illness. Cherished mother of Garth, and Jarrod Snowsill. Adored grandmother of Ryan, and Zoë. Loved sister and sister-in-law of Geri and Ray Southey, the late Winnie, Melba, Greta, Betty, Anne, and John. In accordance with family wishes, a service has taken place.
